03.17.11 - 1st Day of Regional
The St. Louis Regional begins today! Practice rounds sometime after 8:30. We'll post as soon as possible throughout the competition.
03.13.11 - Shop Clean Up
Minibot completely finished and tested! See video below. Shop almost complete cleaned and truck packed with stuff for competition. Come by Monday, Tuesday and Wednessday after 5:30 p.m. to help with moving the final items.
03.11.11 - Shop Clean Up
The team will be meeting at the shop Sunday, March 6, noon to five. Any team member that make it, please be there. We still need to work on: making banners, spare parts, competition parts lists, FIRST roster, and to work out game and operator stratagies.
02.22.11 - Robot Shipped
The robot has shipped! Only two issues with a drive belt and elevation gearbox need tweaking. Good luck to all the other teams and see you at the competition! Pictures on gallery page.
02.21.11 - Build Season Update
Ten hours till ship date! Boom and claw put together and tested. Drive gearboxes being mounted. Now if we can only figure how to get rid of 4-2 lbs. of weight...

Two days till ship date! Elevation gearbox finally working! Yeah! Last extension between stages two and three working. Bumpers being built. Control box built, we're using four joysticks this year. Programming and electronics almost completed.

Five days till shipdate! First gearbox for extending the boom completed. It works like a charm. Estimated time to reach full extension: three and one half seconds!

01.08.11 - FIRST 2011 Season Game Information Released
FIRST Team 1444 attended the 2011 St. Louis Kickoff, at the St. Louis Science Center on January 8, 2011. The kickoff was held in the planetarium. At the kickoff, the team had the chance to view video of this year's competition. At nine AM, the telecast was shown on the NASA television channel. The game for the 2011 robotics season was revealed titled "Logo Motion." Check out more information and watch the video here.
